Blackberry Mojito Tea Lemonade is a cool refreshing drink with green tea, mint, fresh blackberries and sweet lemonade.
Several years ago Starbucks used to have a Blackberry Mojito Tea Lemonade on their menu. And I absolutely loved it. It was one of my favorite drinks to get when I wanted something sweet and refreshing. Unfortunately, it wasn’t on the menu for long.
This presented me with the challenge to make it on my own, and I did! This drink is every bit as delicious as the original I tried all those years ago. Made with a fresh blackberry puree, refreshing mint, sweet lemonade and green tea, you’ll be reaching for a glass anytime you need a sweet refresh.
Let’s talk about what you’ll need to make it.
Blackberry Mojito Tea Lemonade Ingredients:
FRESH BLACKBERRIES: This is a great way to use fresh blackberries! I’ve never made it with frozen but I imagine thawed frozen berries would work well in this recipe too.
GREEN TEA: Use your favorite green tea!
WATER: To brew the tea.
LEMONADE: When I first developed this recipe, I made a homemade lemonade. And while you can do that, using store bought lemonade makes this recipe really easy.
MINT: Where the “mojito” comes from in the recipe. The mint adds a refreshing sweetness to the tea.
Step by Step Photos and Instructions:
Making this tea lemonade is a little more involved than your standard tea or lemonade because you’ll need to make the blackberry puree and let it steep in the tea but other than that, it’s easy!
STEP #1: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Pour over 4 teabags and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags.
STEP #2: While tea is steeping, puree blackberries in a food processor. Process until liquified.
STEP #3: Press blackberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds.
STEP #4: Add blackberry puree and mint leaves to the tea. Refrigerate until chilled.
STEP #5: Fill a glass with ice and pour 4 ounces of the blackberry tea and 4 ounces of lemonade over the top. Gently stir. Garnish with mint leaf and lemon wedge.
If you want to make a big batch, you can also combine the 4 cups of blackberry tea with 4 cups of lemonade. Add ice and serve chilled.
Storage and Leftovers:
Store any leftover tea in an air tight container in the refrigerator and use within 48 hours.

Blackberry Mojito Tea Lemonade
A cool refreshing drink with green tea, mint, fresh blackberries and lemonade.
To make the tea, brew the tea by bringing 4 cups of water to a boil. Place 4 teabags in a pitcher and pour the water over the top. Let steep for 10 minutes. Remove teabags and discard.
Puree blackberries in a food processor strain though a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds. Add puree and mint leaves to brewed tea. Mix well. Place in the refrigerator until chilled.
To make a single drink, fill a glass with ice and pour 4 ounces of the blackberry tea over the top. Add 4 ounces of lemonade. Gently stir, garnish with a lemon wedge and mint leaf.
Notes
Because the lemonade will have sugar, I don't find that this recipe needs any additional sugar. However, taste it after chilling to determine if you need a bit more sweetness. I like this with equal parts lemonade and equal parts tea. However, if you want a little more blackberry tea flavor, start with 2 ounces lemonade to 4 ounces tea. I love this! I just had one this weekend, so happy to make it at home :)
