Sweet n’ Spicy BBQ Popcorn

Sweet n’ Spicy BBQ Popcorn is the perfect game day snack! Popcorn drizzled with jalapeño butter and sprinkled with BBQ seasoning and a pinch of brown sugar.

Every January starts out with the idea of “let’s eat better!” And then comes the Super Bowl and I’m all “GIVE ME ALL THE DIPS AND WINGS!” It’s inevitable really.

Sweet n' Spicy BBQ Popcorn is the perfect game day snack! Popcorn drizzled with jalapeño butter and sprinkled with BBQ seasoning and a pinch of brown sugar.

The big game is right up there with Thanksgiving when it comes to food consumed. And while we now know my Hawks won’t be playing, you can be sure that I’m still thinking of the game day snacks that I’ll be making, even if I’m only watching the commercials and the half-time show. That is why I have teamed up with a whole bunch of other bloggers to bring you 60 recipes for your game day menus!

My contribution to this awesome collection is this Sweet n’ Spicy BBQ Popcorn. Everyone loves snacking on popcorn whether they are watching a movie, a big game or just having a party. I’ve decided to spice things up a bit (it’s what I do, if you haven’t noticed) with this Sweet N’ Spicy BBQ Popcorn.

I air popped the popcorn and then topped it with jalapeño butter, bbq seasoning and a sprinkling of brown sugar. It has just the right amount of heat, sweet and buttery goodness. And it’s light enough that I can add plenty of the recipes below to the menu too!

Wow your blog is such an inspiration. Doing a luncheon for 60 and the budget allows a little leeway for an appetizer- a cheese board it will be. Thanks for the breakdown and the step by step to getting it all together.
