The Super Bowl is just a few days away now and if you’re like me you are still working out the kinks on your menu. With that in mind I thought it might be good to do a little round up of sorts to help get it all ironed out.
I like to have a bunch of different options for my guests to choose from. And I like most of the items to fall in the appetizer/snack category because it lets people graze over the food throughout the game. Here’s a few of my faves.
This is always a crowd pleaser and a little on the healthy side too. I have made many a batches of this that I didn’t even get the chance to try before it was devoured.
Forget the premade stuff, it is soooooo easy to make french onion dip at home. Plus your kitchen will smell like caramelized onions which just might be one of the best smells. Ever.
This dip is hot and spicy and a nice change from the traditional taco dip that you might find at a Super Bowl party.
Ryan has requested these bad boys. So they will definitely make our list.
And last but not least you’ve got to have the grand daddy of all Super Bowl food: chicken wings. If you’ve browsed the blog before then you know I have a special place in my heart for wings. And as a result I have a plethora of recipes to chose from. I’ll probably be making Garlic Lime Chicken Wings, because I have a pregnant friend who requested them and well, I’m not going to say no to a pregnant friend requesting food. If you like your wings sweet and saucy go for Sweet Thai Chili Chicken Wings. And if you like ’em a bit spicier but not so saucy try Jalapeno Ginger Chicken Wings or Cajun Chicken Wings
I hope this helps with your menu planning. I think I might have mine down now. Enjoy!
