This Truffle Cashews recipe turns simple roasted cashews into a fancy snack fit for cheese boards, game day or holiday gifts. And you only need 3 ingredients!
Seasoned nuts make a great addition to charcuterie boards, a great snack to munch on during game day and even a great holiday gift for friends and family. And there are so many different ways to make them. You can go the sweet route with Honey Roasted Cashews or Candied Pecans.
Or you can kick things up with a spicy version like these Spicy Fried Peanuts. Or, a new favorite around here, the savory route with these Truffle Cashews.
And the best part about these little gems is that you only need three ingredients to make them. Let’s talk about it.
Truffle Cashew Ingredients:
UNSALTED CASHEWS: Unsalted is important because you will be adding truffle salt and you don’t want the final product to be over-salted.
BLACK TRUFFLE OIL: Olive oil infused with black truffles. This is becoming much easier to find these days. I got a Truff Gift Box (affiliate link) for a gift recently so I happen to have the Truff oil but you can use whatever brand you prefer.
TRUFFLE SALT: Salt that has been infused with black truffle.
Step by Step Photos and Instructions:
Making these Truffle Cashews is SO easy! You can do them all in one pot and cook them in under 10 minutes.
STEP #1: Place unsalted cashews in a large skillet or pot. Cover and toast over low heat for 5 – 10 minutes, just until warmed through. Shake the pan every once in a while to prevent burning.
STEP #2: Add in truffle oil and truffle salt. Cover, hold the lid on and shake the pan to ensure that the cashews are covered. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Storage and Leftovers:
These will last for several days. Just be sure to keep them in a sealed container for freshness.
