Chipotle Salsa

Chipotle Salsa is spicy, smoky and full of flavor. Loaded with diced tomatoes, jalapeños, chipotle peppers, garlic and lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 1 jalapeño stem removed
  • 3 garlic
  • 29 ounces diced tomatoes 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
  • 2 chipotle peppers
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup cilantro loosely packed
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine onion, jalapeño and garlic together in a food processor. Pulse until minced fine.
  • Add remaining ingredients to the processor and pluse until desired consistency. Adjust seasoning with more salt if necessary.

Notes

While delicious right away this salsa is even better the next day after the flavors have had a chance to mingle.
