Ingredients
1/2 cupbutterroom temperature
2garlic clovesminced fine
1tablespoonparlseychopped
1tablespoonlemon juice
2teaspoonschiveschopped
1teaspoonthyme leaves
1 teaspoonstoneground mustard
3/4teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonlemon zest
1/2teaspoon black pepper
1/2teaspoonpaprika
1/4 teaspooncrushed red pepper optional
1/8teaspooncayenne pepperoptional
Instructions
Place softened butter and all ingredients together in a bowl.
Mix until the mixture is well combined.
Form compound butter into a log. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Notes
Even if you want the butter to be soft and spreadable, the chilling time is still important. This allows all of the flavors to meld so don't skip this step. You may need to allow it to soften a bit on the counter so that it slices well. Nutrition information for estimation purposes only.
