I have tried other Kale and Kielbasa soups but they were not cream based, I think that added element gives a rich flavor. Adding even potatoes makes it heartier.

Ingredients
Ingredients:
1tablespoonof olive oil
1/2medium sized oniondiced
1clovegarlicminced
1 14ozKielbasa or Turkey Kielbasa
3Yukon gold potatoesscrubbed and diced small
3cupsof chicken broth
1/4cupdry wine such as Pinot Grigio
4cupsof kalerinsed, trimmed and torn or cut into pieces (think salad size pieces)
1cuphalf and half
Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
In a soup pot over medium heat heat olive oil. Once olive oil is heated add onions and garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Next add the kielbasa and saute for 2 minutes and then add potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes
Next add the dry white wine, chicken broth and the kale. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are soft with punctured with a fork.
Reduce the heat and add the half and half. Simmer for 10 more minutes but do not bring to boil.
Ladle soup into bowls and top generously with freshly ground pepper.
